Water quality warning in Kharkiv region
According to the Kharkiv regional military administration, the newspaper «Slobidsky krai» reports that the water in the reservoirs of Kharkiv region is not safe for swimming during the summer period.
Oleg Sinyegubov from the State Commission for Technogenic and Environmental Safety recommended banning recreation in water bodies throughout the region. He also mentioned the possibility of creating safe recreation areas, but only on an individual basis.
Despite this, the opening of five beaches and recreational areas for swimming by the population is planned in the Kharkiv region during the summer season of 2024.
