In Kyiv, law enforcement officers have detained a man who attacked a pensioner and robbed him in his own entrance hall in the Svyatoshynsky district. This was reported by the city police.
The attacker, using the darkness, assaulted a 72-year-old man, beat him with his fists, and took his mobile phone.
The suspect was apprehended in less than half an hour. It turned out to be a 56-year-old man, born in Crimea, who had previously been convicted for similar crimes. He faces up to 10 years in prison for robbery (Part 4 of Article 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
