Cherkasy Regional Prosecutor’s Office Sentences Robber to Seven Years in Prison
Today, the press service of the Cherkasy regional prosecutor’s office announced the sentencing of a 38-year-old resident of the Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi district to seven years in prison for a series of robberies. According to the investigation, the criminal stole alcohol from a local store in October of last year and fled the scene after being asked by the cashier to pay for it. Over the next few months, he committed five more similar crimes until he was apprehended by the store’s security service. The court found him guilty and sentenced him to seven years in prison.
The convicted remains in custody pending the start of his sentence.
