Earthquake in Marmara Sea near Istanbul

A 3.8 magnitude earthquake struck the Marmara Sea near Istanbul, causing panic in the city. The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) reported that the epicenter was located at a depth of 7 km, 25.1 km from the Buyukcekmece district of Istanbul.

The earthquake occurred at 00:38 local time and the intensity of the tremor led to widespread panic among residents, according to Turkish media.
