Russian Troops Shell Four Settlements in Donetsk Region, Resulting in Casualties
Russian troops shelled four settlements in the Donetsk region, resulting in the death of five civilians and injuring three others. This information was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.
According to law enforcement authorities, the shelling took place in Pleschyivka of the Kramatorsk district, where three women aged between 26 and 77 were seriously injured and hospitalized. The artillery strikes also resulted in the death of a couple in this area.
Additional shelling was recorded in Hrodivka of the Pokrovsk district and Velyka Novosilka of the Volnovakha district, where another couple was injured.
Law enforcement agencies have launched a criminal investigation into the violations of laws and customs of war. The investigation is ongoing.
Earlier attacks were recorded in the Central district of Kherson, where Russian shelling injured three people, including a 16-year-old girl.
