Law enforcement officers in Dnipropetrovsk region expose scammers
Law enforcement officers in Dnipropetrovsk region have exposed scammers who organized a fake online store selling mobile phones and computers. Following this scheme, they defrauded 25 individuals, including military personnel. The total amount of damage is nearly 120,000 hryvnias.
Main organizer identified
The main organizer of the criminal group turned out to be a 23-year-old resident of Dnipro. The group also included two men and one woman, each performing their role in the fraudulent scheme.
Seizure of evidence
Police conducted searches, during which they seized computer equipment, bank cards, phones, SIM cards, and notebooks with draft records confirming the criminal activities of the suspects.
Legal action taken
The organizer and his accomplices have been charged under Part 4 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine — fraud. They have been remanded in custody as a preventive measure. The police continue to investigate this case.
