The Fight Against Corruption Continues in Odessa

The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office revealed that the deputy head of a customs department in Odessa acquired property beyond his lawful income, including an apartment and parking spaces.

The prosecutors sought the confiscation of the assets, valued at 2.83 million hryvnias, and the High Anti-Corruption Court ruled in favor of the prosecution, declaring the assets unjustified.

The former deputy head obtained the real estate through a third party, who gifted it to him. The court ordered the assets to be seized by the state, but an appeal can be filed within 30 days.
