Mikhail Spiridonov appointed as the new head of the Kharkiv District Administrative Court

Mikhail Spiridonov has officially assumed the role of the head of the Kharkiv District Administrative Court, with a term of office lasting three years. The news was reported by «Law and Business».

Previously, Spiridonov held the position of acting head of the court before being appointed as the permanent head.

Following the expiration of Olga Panchenko’s term as the head of the court in February 2023, she was reassigned as a sanitary inspector. Panchenko had been found guilty of bribery in the amount of 3,000 US dollars by the Higher Anti-Corruption Court and was sentenced to five years in prison for offering a bribe to Judge Zaichko. An appeal was filed, but it was postponed due to Panchenko’s mobilization for military service.

After a series of meetings among the judges, Mikhail Spiridonov was ultimately selected as the new head of the court.

Mikhail Spiridonov began his judicial career in 2005 in Izyum City District Court, and later transitioned to the Kharkiv District Administrative Court in 2007. In 2010, he was elected to this position indefinitely.
