Tragedy Strikes Near Ivanivka Village in Kyiv Region
This morning, a cyclist was hit by a DAF truck near the village of Ivanivka in the Kyiv region, resulting in a tragic loss of life. The man succumbed to his injuries before medics could arrive at the scene. Law enforcement officers are currently investigating the details of the accident.
Accident Details
The accident took place at approximately 12:00 on July 3rd, as reported by the Kyiv Regional Police Department. Preliminary investigations suggest that the cyclist failed to properly check for traffic before entering the intersection, leading to the collision with the truck.
The victim suffered severe injuries, including bruises, a fractured nose, and a traumatic leg amputation. Despite immediate medical care, his injuries proved fatal.
Police officials from the Myronivskyi police department, alongside medical personnel, were present at the accident site to manage the situation.

It is important to mention another recent tragedy in the capital, where a BMW driver collided with a young boy at an unregulated pedestrian crossing on Oresta Levytskoho Street in the Desnianskyi district on June 26.
