Barcelona midfielder and German national team player Ilkay Gundogan shared his impressions ahead of the start of Euro 2024.
«In every game now you feel like it’s a final. Both teams take the field with such a mood. The media call us the two best national teams, which says a lot about us. We have taken a lot of right steps to achieve this. There is nothing better for a football fan or player than such games,» Gundogan said.
«We deserve a place in the quarterfinals. We have a great group of players and a great coach, the support from behind is also excellent. The atmosphere among the fans in Germany is great now, and we want to enjoy every minute,» added the footballer.
