The Association of Private Performers of Ukraine held a round table on the topic «Principles of Implementation of Arrested Property», which was attended by all key market participants: members of parliament, representatives of the Ministry of Justice, the National Bank of Ukraine, the Independent Association of Banks, the State Enterprise ‘SETAM’ and the Public Joint-Stock Company ‘Prozorro.Sales’.

«The position of the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine is very simple: we are users of the services of the State Enterprise ‘SETAM’ and the Public Joint-Stock Company ‘Prozorro.Sales’. The main thing is for the system to be clear, useful and convenient for all users — both state and private performers. It doesn’t matter to us on which platform the auctions take place. We support the approach that will support transparency,» said Deputy Minister of Justice for Executive Service Andrii Haichenko.

Denys Hryshchenko, head of the «Litigation» subcommittee of the Committee on Legal Support of Banks Activities and Protection of Creditors’ Rights of NABU, commented: «The economic aspect is key in any process. Although the system of realizing arrested property is not perfect, we are grateful to the members of parliament and the Ministry of Justice for initiating reforms in 2016, thanks to which we are able to use this mechanism today. Our joint decisions should meet the interests of all citizens of Ukraine, especially the business sector.»

Iryna Zharonkina, head of the Component on Enforcement of Judgments and Property Rights Protection of the EU Project «Pravo-Justice», noted: «The stage of realization of arrested property is crucial for the enforcement proceedings. Taking into account the experience of European Union countries, the use of electronic platforms is the most effective solution to ensure the efficiency of the entire process.»
