In Kharkiv, a new digital version of the «Kharkiv Resident Card» is introduced
In Kharkiv, a digital version of the «Kharkiv Resident Card» under the name Digital X-card is being introduced, the city council reports.
The new card will be available through a mobile application and will perform the same functions as its plastic counterpart. The Digital X-card will allow users to:
- Receive social discounts from project partners;
- Use the card as a student ticket;
- Receive personalized information about social support.
The «Kharkiv Resident Card» project has already proven itself as a unique initiative, having no analogues in Ukraine and covering various aspects of residents’ lives. Before the war, the card served as a travel document, as well as provided discounts on purchases and services. Since the beginning of the war, the issuance of cards was temporarily suspended, but later resumed.
In March, the city authorities announced new cards for volunteers — the «Kharkiv Volunteer Resident Card», which will be issued to 423 activists from 22 organizations working in the city.
The project was implemented thanks to the cooperation of the «Kharkiv City Reform Office», Kharkiv IT Cluster, and Quantum company. More detailed information about the project partners can be found on the official website.
