The future of FC «Dnipro-1» Hangs in the Balance

The fate of the football club «Dnipro-1» may be decided as soon as Tuesday, July 16, during the general meeting of the clubs of the Ukrainian Premier League. However, the team has recently lost another player, as Yevheniy Pasich has now moved to «Metalist 1925».

The 31-year-old player has signed a 2-season contract with the new team, as confirmed by the press service of FC «Metalist 1925». Pasich is set to play under the number 18, bringing his professional experience from teams like «Dnipro», «Naftovyk», and «Dnipro-1», where he played 34 matches.

In addition to Pasich, farewells were recently bid to midfielder Bohdan Liadnevyi and goalkeeper Yakiv Kinareikin on social media, leaving «Dnipro-1» with only a few remaining players. The club now faces the looming threat of possible extinction.

Earlier departures of Sarapiy and Tretyakov from «Dnipro-1» have also been noted, as they found new teams. On a positive note, the basketball club «Dnipro» is set to participate in the FIBA Europe Cup qualification.
