According to the publication Sova, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, has resumed his attack on Ukraine, comparing it to the Revolution of Dignity and calling it a «collapsed country.»
Claims About Maidan
He claims that «no one in Georgia sees Maidan» and spreads the myth about the «results of Maidan,» stating that the Ukrainian government «was appointed from the outside, first once, then again.»
Concerns Expressed
Kobakhidze says that before 2013, when the Revolution of Dignity began, Ukraine was a country with territorial integrity, and its economy was worth 200 billion dollars. «Today this country is a collapsed one,» he said, adding that Georgia should also «be cautious.»
Protecting Country’s Interests
«No one else can take responsibility for protecting our country’s interests. The best example of this was shown by Ukraine,» Kobakhidze added.
Response to Bill on «Foreign Agents»
Earlier, Kobakhidze expressed concern about the «Russian» bill on «foreign agents,» stating that it is intended to protect Georgia from «Ukrainization,» which, according to him, could hinder the country’s EU membership. The Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs reacted to these statements with indignation.
